Are you taking blogging seriously?

Some days ago I was having dinner with my Mom. It was one of those very seldom evenings when it’s just the two of us and we can finally enjoy some mother-daughter time and talk about all these girly topics. Naturally, we started to talk about blogging (sorry, Mom, I’m just too obsessed 😉 ) when she dropped the statement “I would have never thought, that you’ll keep up blogging for so long. I thought you’ll make 2-3 outfit shots and then you’ll be fed up with it”. I actually wasn’t at all surprised about her opinion looking back at myself when I was still a kid/teenager.

The 1 Thing I had to learn about Time

I remember very clearly how a friend threw these words at me: “Jecky, you have more ideas than possibilities”. Back then I was still a teenager who was way too influenced by American TV shows and glossy magazines, imagining that one day she would live a life just as glamorous as the one on O.C., California. And while back then my teenage friend was clearly hinting at financial possibilities, with the years I realized that there is one other resource – much more valuable and scarce – that is holding me back from realizing all the ideas I have in mind: Time.
